License Plate Recognition System in North America

We are proud of the accuracy of 97.2% with exact match & 99+% accuracy with a N-1 fuzzy match achieved in this snowy location under challenging conditions.

This installation was especially challenging because:
- We did not have control over the camera positioning & it was based on available space in the parking lot
- Camera was placed low at less than 3ft from the ground. The vehicle head lights were almost directly on the LPR camera & snow from the top & dust from the ground were dimming the camera view
- Exit Camera was also placed behind the boom barrier
- This was an outdoor location with widely varying lighting conditions including shadows, strong reflections at dawn & dusk

Here's the interesting part:
- The cameras are off-the-shelf Honeywell IP cameras that cost less than $400
- Our Uncanny LPR for both Exit & Entry cameras run on one off-the-shelf Lenovo Thinkcentre device that our customer bought on sale for less than $500
- There are NO loop sensors to trigger our LPR software. It is fully camera & software-based LPR
